Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the AVBI Short app and website, operated by Jeany Austin Ngoumeni Nkeudjeu, Boulevard de triomphe 151, 1050 Bruxelles, Belgium. By creating an account you accept them.
The service
AVBI Short turns videos you upload into short vertical clips with captions, using automated transcription and AI selection. Results are generated automatically and may contain errors; review your shorts before publishing them.
Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep access to it secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. One person or organisation per account; free allowances may not be multiplied by creating several accounts.
Your content
You keep all rights to the videos you upload and the shorts we generate. You confirm that you have the right to use the content you upload, including any music, images or people appearing in it. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process your content to provide the service. You must not upload illegal, hateful or infringing content.
Plans and payment
- Every new account receives a one-time free allowance. Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled.
- Each plan includes a number of shorts and minutes of video per billing period. Unused shorts and minutes do not carry over.
- Subscriptions bought on the website are billed by Stripe; subscriptions bought in the app are billed by Apple or Google under their terms.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable. App Store and Google Play refunds are handled by Apple and Google.
- If you are a consumer in the EU, you agree that the service starts immediately after purchase and acknowledge that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once you start using your allowance.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or abuse the service, or access other users' data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may close accounts that breach these terms, with notice when possible.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. These terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to the mandatory protections of your country of residence.
